Certificate Programs 

Certificates represent significant academic achievement that is endorsed by Rutgers-New Brunswick's Curriculum Committee, recognized on your official transcript, and awarded when you graduate.


Certificate portfolios prepare you for civically engaged professional life and recognize your commitment to scholarship that serves your community.





What do I need to do?

  • Click on the images to learn more about each program. Plan early so that you can align your certificate with your major, minor, or career interests.

  • Consult with Collaborative Center staff and apply for a portfolio review. 

  • For Civic Scholar and International Civic Scholar Certificates, complete the application, submit your portfolio and unofficial transcript.

  • For the Youth Mentoring Certificate, consult with Collaborative Center staff, submit your portfolio and unofficial transcript.
