Rutgers Civic Scholar, International Civic Scholar, and Youth Mentoring Certificates

Certificates represent significant academic achievement that is endorsed by Rutgers-New Brunswick, recognized on your official transcript, and awarded when you graduate.  Youth Mentoring, Civic Scholar, and International Civic Scholar Certificate portfolios prepare you for civically engaged professional life and leadership through scholarship that serves your community.

One- and two-semester options, Advancing Community Development, Community Research Assistant, Behavioral Assistant, and Collaborative Youth Mentor are credit-bearing, service-learning courses that may be taken independently or included in your pathway toward a certificate.
